It really makes you rethink all the cartoon violence and experience we observed in the original show. I’m glad it was Connie’s mom who was the one to bring it up and try to help him through it. It may have given her more of an idea of everything Steven had to go through in the original series. Also, the song Steven sings sounds so beautiful and romantic, but when you find out he wanted to live as Stevonnie in order to just give himself some control and direction by piggybacking off of Connie, the lyrics aren’t so sweet anymore but are rather sad and desperate. I still love the song though. The best line was Garnett saying you can’t listen to love advice from “those two love birds” 🤣.

2025-02-07 05:27:10 +0000 UTCHonestly I’m not a fan of some of these lol they are just to much, it’s a sorta stressful experience that hits close to home but not in a good way lol definitely not as fun as some of Steven universe og, Steven proposing to Connie was one of the most cringy things I’ve seen in a show lol but I do enjoy garnets talk and Connie’s talk they are very right and him proposing is a really bad idea especially since they are so young and you’re right Connie has her own life, Steven is going through so much but tbh I don’t think he should get mad at getting rejected like that cause he should understand that it’s just a not now what Connie said, Steven is to controlling as well.

One of my favorite episodes tho, finally gettng clarity that Garnet is somewhat her own entity with separate thoughts from sapphire and ruby.
