I love going through this journey with you guys already! All the bickering, Davion and Cameron's theories, and Nathan's never-ending patience are just so fun to watch. That entire ending segment with you guys clowning shifters and that fan who actually did the B----y Mary shit was golden. Can't wait to see the next couple of episodes! (Except 1x08 "Bugs", we don't do that over here.)

2021-01-06 00:04:08 +0000 UTCEnjoying your reactions, guys. Looks like you're having fun. As for their fighting skills, Sam may be taller, but Dean is the better fighter. Possibly it's just because he's been doing this for longer. He's 4 years older than Sam, and unlike Sam, did not take time out of hunting to go to college. As of the beginning of the series, he's been hunting more or less consistently for about 10 years, and with some degree of frequency before that. Season 1 has very little in the way of over-arcing plot. By far the majority of the episodes are MOTW. That will start to change from Season 2. The formula of driving into town, solving a mystery, and saving the girl, does not last very long. Most of us watching at the end of the series have long forgotten that it ever looked that way. And I see AdoptDontShopPets has mentioned it above, but streaming versions have the wrong music soundtrack for Season 1, which is a real shame. Part of the whole atmosphere of the show was being set to classic rock.

When shifter Dean sheading his skin for me it's still the most disgusting scene in all 15 seasons. Although I prefer the original soundtrack (if you have chance listen to opening scene with original song) they still made great music choices here. Anyway, you guys are super funny. If you haven't get hooked with this episode, I'm betting on ep 9 then.

And if you want to see Dean become even more of a badass, then Davion has gotta put up with the MOTW episodes, especially in the first season. Like Nathan said, it’s all gonna be worth it, if you can make it through. This was my first time viewing one of your full reactions. Pressing play at zero worked really well in getting mine to sync with yours. Only thing for you all, is that eventually the recaps can sometimes be a spoiler for the episode. As an example, the next time they encounter a shapeshifter, the recap is probably going to include flashbacks to this episode and then it’s not going to be a surprise to you when they figure out the monster that week is a shapeshifter. So eventually you might want to skip recaps. Cannot remember if Nathan mentioned this before, or you are even aware that for Season 1 of Supernatural, Netflix does not have all the original songs from the show. They are only on the DVD. Supernatural’s budget was so small they didn’t buy streaming rights for all the songs used. I agree with Cameron that the opening song used here was really good, and still the one on the DVD is even a little better with the classic "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” imo. Same is true for the rest of the songs on this episode. At least this is only for the first season. Nathan, you are doing well not giving them any spoilers, a d yet still being able to give a nod or wink wink to the viewers who have the knowledge. Looking forward to going on the journey with you all. And I’m gonna have to start watching Cobra Kai and enjoy your other videos as well.
