So saying having 2.5 kids was a shorthand way of talking about someone living a stereotypical, “normal” life. Just as an FYI, nowadays that figure has dropped to under 2, but I bet tv shows still use the phrase 2.5 kids. Hope your neck feels better, Davion. 🙂
