Discussion: S01 E03 Cake the Cat

They explore Minerva’s human world until they leave into the forest where they encounter the squirrel from the tree episode. I love this presence and what he’s doing in life. Fionna then appears as Simon tries the chant again but fails. This does make me confused on if they are reviving them from the real world or frok a fictional world. Perhaps I’m being dumb or that hasn’t been clarified but I love the potential. But F&C reunite and have a F&C adventure that mimics the story. Then they suddenly disappear…. Umm.. amazing cliffhanger.
Then something that’s in the background is Prismo as he is rewatching clips from older Finn and Jake’a adventures. He seems to be grieving his loss still which is beautiful and poetic since Jake did that back in Season 6 so it feels fitting for it to come back.
Slow pacing but great developments! 8-8.5/10

Honestly I’m just loving the more mature themes and pacing of it. The slow developments are satisfying and getting to know the worlds again. Of the first 3 yeah it probably is the “slowest” and least loaded with information but I’m digging it a lot!
