Well said! Loved this side of pinkie and really the other ponies whenver they go into things that are opposite of what they are known for. The show gets into awesome territory when it goes there. Great lesson indeed! But she had the right to feel sus about them and she’s use to always been happy and spending time. You can even see how they ponies didn’t want to upset her and maybe even a little overbearing. Great episode!

As bright as MLP is, as dark are some grimdark FanFics about MLP-Characters etc. - there were already infamous stories with Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash ("Cupcakes") and then this episode happened which as Pinkie_applepie already pointed out, solidified a lot of these grimdark stories invoving Pinkie Pie. This episode shows, that even though Pinkie Pie herself is sometimes an insane mystery, she is not one dimensional and has some kind of love codependency issue towards other Ponies, especially her friends. By spreading joy and love etc. she needs to feel appreciated and being loved by those around her, otherwise shes prone to loosing herself in some kind of insanity... shown by her darker shade and straight hair (which she had when she worked on the rockfarm before she saw that sonic rainboom) Its interesting that it showed a complete opposite side to Pinkies behaviour normally And again: one shouldnt question the pink one, especially if she is doing some crazy stuff, shes crazy powerful - She was even faster than Rainbow Dash :o The lession here was another good one, sometimes some friends do questionable things which seem to be in a way that one begins to overthink things... and can turn into a spiralling demon, which let´s you question everything. Girl is just paranoid and suspicious 😂 Yes she’s insanely fast. But also was so sad seeing her upset. Might have been worse than seeing fluttershy sad Simple message but effective!

2024-03-30 07:44:56 +0000 UTCThis was such a great episode, pinkie is pretty creepy in this one lol, her moods are crazy, she’s normally so happy and I guess when she’s not she’s very upset and angry, some of the fandom has made creepy pasta fan fiction and scary stuff about pinkie pie and the ponies in general horror is sorta big in parts of the fandom because the creepy moments like in this episode and just the odd nature of pinkie, also pinkie running faster than rainbow dashes flying is insane lol I love it, another reason people say to not question her, the message was good if you have good friends always trust them and never think the worst, I’ve had these types of moments were assumed things that didn’t even happen like you said it’s very trust someone fully and assume the best instead the worst sometimes, paranoia happens, pinkie centered episodes are great.
