A strength of this show early on are the characters and their personalities so to double down on new meaner or off kilter sides is so entertaining. Rainbow dash spike and now Avatar state Twilight 😂

2024-04-04 10:31:33 +0000 UTCAfter looking again on this guide, i see theres a mentioning of season 10, but there are only 9 show seasons - to explain this you need to know the following: There is a comic "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" made by IDW who created up to 102 issues up to that point. All comics by IDW are considered canon and depict further adventures and stories about the main six and additional characters through all the seasons which arent necessary for the show-series itself. Issue 89 to 102 (Season 10) was released instead of a an episodic show and covered some further stories. - They're really good, if you're interested you should read all the issues (beginning after season 9, because i dont know which issue is which season prior to 10 - i could look it up, but it takes some time). This btw. doesnt mean that Season 9 ended unfinished - the conclusion was really good - the IDW comics just provide additional stories.

2024-04-04 09:24:32 +0000 UTCLoved this season premiere, discord is a great villain, everyone loves discord because he’s more of a fun villain rather then just a serious straight forward one, lol I loved how pinkie was just enjoying the chocolate rain, discord is strong but no match for the mane 6 friendships, I also liked seeing different versions of the ponies lol like lying apple jack was hilarious, lol mean and bratty fluttershy is something I’d never expect to see, also I love the avatar mode twilight goes into when she uses the elements snd defeats villains it’s so epic.

Love these type of more serious and historical reference stories. The shows has executed them extremely well! Discord was a great villain! Yes I like a playful villain since just doing it is boring and it works here since each character had their own character crisis and introspective parts. Yes!!!! I loooved that! You can’t ruin and deter fluttershy. So lame how he physically had to intervene 🙄 Ah yes it could be! Spike dash was amazing 😂😂😂. Loved how fed up twilight was. Anyone can just be rainbow dash 🤣 It really was. Heartbreaking and even worse he was just laughing. Definitely undermined everyone and playing with his food too much. Ahh noted. Wonder what other eps he has written from the ones I’ve seen. They are! Sorry for the long wait. Needed to find the time to read and respond 😂🤣. Glad you enjoyed!

Season 7, it got only one Premiere-Episode ... Season 1 & 3, it got only one Finale-Episode ... Season 9 got two Finale-Episodes with episode 24-25 and a final conclusion with episode 26 And there are Mid-Season special-episodes (episode 13), beginning with Season 4

I love you for that :D - thank you This is one of the first episodes, which showed how surprisingly serious the story (besides its targeted age) can get and how much of a chaotic but funny clusterfuck it can be. It also was the next best episode which got a lot of people into the fandom. Discord is a so called a "Draconequus" (literally "Dragon-Horse"). For the question if they unlocked the curse: I think, it maybe sparked it, or Discord had a chance to influence the cmc to behave like this - but the origin was as Celestia told them, the severed link to the elements of harmony. The reason why he looks like that is easy... he is THE embodiment of chaos and just looks this way (knowing he is a reality warper and able to transform himself and anyone at his will, maybe its just his preferred form). He is voiced by THE ONE and ONLY "John de Lancie", known for voicing another iconic character "Q" in the "Star Trek"-Series (DS9 and TNG) who can be considered to be the same character behaviorwise - he even teleported the same way as "Q" did. (The similarity was intended by the creator) It was a huge surprise towards the fandom. As powerful as he is, he is also as mischievous and playful. That is the only reason why he didn't directly turned everything over, cause he wanted to, well just "play" and have fun with its prey and make things interesting otherwise it would get all too easy and dull. It was funny that Discord struggled to turn Fluttershy over and had to directly influence her. Mean Fluttershy is an interesting one :o Do you remember what Rarity said in the "Cutie Mark Chronicles" episode: "A ROCK! Thats my destiny?" - I cant be the only one to think that Tom here is a reference to that :D - Btw. I loved the scene where Twilight was shouting "HERE COMES TOM!!!" XD The Book which contained the Elements was one of the first books we saw at the season one premiere - "The elements of harmony" - Discords Riddle with "...back were you began" was related to that. And it now got official, Spike is the new Rainbow Dash! XD Twilight being sad and breaking up with her friends is truly heartbreaking... and then Discord gloating over it makes it even worse :o But then theres happy twilight hopping around, because she found a solution which is adorable! Poor spike getting the short stick with the mail-spamattack - It really must be painful to get misused like that 😓 - but it was necessary. And the little interlude about the perception of TOM and Cloudsdale by Rarity and AJ makes me always chuckle. I wouldn't say RD is the strongest (AJ is more qualified for that) i think she's damn nimble and fast - she could easily escape if it werent for them holding her down with that rope. Its obvious to say that Discord losing to the Mane Six was entirely his own fault for underestimating them. If you remember back to what Celestia said about the prison-break of Discord at the beginning: It was mostly due to the severed linkage of the Elements that freed him which lasted millenia before. It shouldn't be easy for him to get out that easily for a long while. I loved your reaction, your opinion and your differentiation between the parts, it was a pleasure watching with you :D BTW. points to note: - You should watch out for the Writer M.A. Larson, he was notorious for "special" episodes - if you see him mentioned at the beginning, you should expect things about to get down ^^' - Another cmc-meme besides Scootaloo's being a chicken is now Sweetie Belle being a Dictionary at the beginning :D 😱These balloons and transformed animals are creepy😱
