Definitely needed to because she was so far up her own head. Love the continued support from her! Maybe didn’t anticipate it 😂 SILLY! Was a great plot twist! Have to trust myself Got it. It’s fun to see and predict the climate of the show at the time I get you. I never got that impression. You always just talk about the ponies. She can be difficult!

2024-04-13 04:51:29 +0000 UTCAh yes the mysterious Mare-Do-Well episode: I liked RD's the transformation from being humble at first, letting it get into her head and getting to be very blunt about it and rubbing it in everyones Face - shes not making a good figure here and besides all her fussing about how awesome she is, she nearly let someone die for her ego. - luckily, her friends figured it out pretty early on. Now some say it was pretty around the bush and pretty unfair to fool her like that, when they had the chance to talk to her directly instead - but i think they already knew this wont work, as the scene with the jar in which the rose mare (Amethyst Star) asked RD, if she wasn't milking it too much and RD was just brushing it of with a question which showed how far gone she already was with her ego-trip (even her catch-phrases at first a nice touch, got fast to a nuisance at this point). It had to be a direct message - which RD had to finally learn: To be humble! - Which was (some would say again) an important lesson. Some further Thoughts: There is no way that a Rainbow Dash fanclub with Scootaloo as head didn't exist :D Clouds must be so comfy, i get jealous when RD was swimming in them. Can we talk about this dangerous way along the cliff? - How the heck did they not secure it and why is there always some kind of disaster happening in Ponyville, that someone has to be rescued?! Mayor?! Mayor?!!! I liked Pinkies "Ahhh! Spike's a ghost!" and calling Twilight "silly" scenes. RD's Competitiveness is good an all, but if there is a Ponylife to be rescued it shouldn't matter. 😅 I wonder what RD´s plan was at the Damn... staying there forever? 😅 I was just as confused as you at first at who Mare-Do-Well could be, i also thought that it had to do with the the rest of the Mane 6, but didnt figure out that they were all taking turns. (Except for Rarity who did these dresses) This episode overall was one of the weaker ones, yeah, i agree. Rainbow Dash was always one of the most popular character (especially in Season 2) in the show. Just so you know... it always sounds like, that i dont like RD - thats not the case, i just have some "tough love" for her 😁 Another insightful reaction about your thoughts - thank you. BTW.: I love how the subtitles said Mare-Duel or Merduel - thats strangely fitting XD

2024-04-13 00:04:12 +0000 UTCI’d say it’s the weakest of the 8 but still had it’s good lessons for RD. Oooh really? Love me intuition sometimes 😂 Yes!!! The pinkie twitch was amazing. It was funny because in my head I was thinking that the mare was doing everything the other ponies are good at so maybe it was all of them? But it felt far fetched. Have to trust my gut 😂

2024-04-11 11:30:39 +0000 UTCA lot of fans didn’t Ike this episode or they thought it was the weakest episode in season 2, I agree with you I don’t hate it either, it’s a decent episode pretty fun to see her learn a lesson like this back to back rainbow dash centered episodes, I think at this point she was the most popular pony in the fandom they had so much merch of her in all the stores at the time of this episode with lots of memes too so you’re definitely right about the the meta part, fans of rd we’re glad to see her learn this also it had some funny jokes and moments also references to superhero movies and shows, I loved the use of pinkie sense again,
