Rarity loyal and strong! and yeah a bunch of sheep, not ponies! I like the classism and social hierarchy within the show. Super interesting

2024-04-14 03:16:33 +0000 UTCOh this episode "sweet and elite" where every prejudice to the stuck up ponies in Canterlot got confirmed. All these fake smiles and attentionwhores, who only accept someone who has some name to themselves or are invited by another known vip. Well, except for one pony: Fancy Pants - Seemingly posh and stuck up at first, its surprising that he is a more sophisticated and dignified vip without being condescend about others. I do like him. I have some trouble with Rarity in this Episode... While i can understand Rarities reasoning for getting known as a VIP of the high society of Canterlot - the way she is doing it was difficult to me. - She even began to lie to her friends and was close to even denying them and her origin as a citizen of Ponyville... even though she should have known better - Lucky for her, to have such friends, who are understanding enough not to ostracize her for this faux pas. Some, (nah - who am i kidding 😅) a lot of further Thoughts: Nice to see Celestia again! And holy cow... this devotion towards princess Celestia runs deee eeeee eeeee eeeep... just wow! Canterlot is Equestria's capital city below the Royal castle (Yay! Worldbuilding!) which is inhabitated by unicorns primarily - The name is a combination of "canter" a gait of horses and Camelot (of the Arthurian Legend). Ponyville is further down and quite some distance away from Canterlot. Oh these two damn unicorns (called Jet Set and Upper Crust) are a bane to me with that behaviour 🙄 I like your mocking imitation of them 😂 The window-cleaner was Hayseed Turnip Truck btw. No, at 2:18 Rarity said "I may have been born in Ponyville, but I am a Canterlot pony at heart." And no, AJ wanted to got to Manehattan, thats entirely another City with another building aesthetics - but i can see why you would mix them up. And there is Fancy Pants with Fleur de Lis - It´s no wonder you dig their design: Fancys Pants lower Body-Model is designed after BigMac's and Fleus is designed after Princess Luna. 😁 (I like that the creators tried to implement more bodyshapes and sizes) Did you notice her doing all these poses? Why though? Maybe she's a Model-type celebrity? 🤣 The struggle is real Rarity... - but why not, mingle with the high and elite and do your job afterwards... Should be simple enough right ... right? But i agree with you, she had to do it... but you know how fast this could escalate. - And yes it was a nice development of her until now. I dont like all these fake smiles and buttering up... Songtime!!! One of the poppier songs until now. - I love Rarities outfit and hair at the art gallery - its so fashionable, artsy and unique. Oooh an airship! - I love airships! 🤩 Yeah a truthful communication would have been key here - her lying makes it a huge problem... And now we have it... her friends came all over in best faith. - At least Rarity is sorry for doing this to Opal :D I somehow get the feeling, that the original design for her new gawn was too much for twilight - i cant picture her in this... Good thing that she liked the well lets say simpler "unfinished" - version, which looks still nice on her. But you are right a little more wouldn't have hurt. Its the first appearance of Pinkie Pies Party Cannon! It suits her too well. :D Being on 2 Parties sure must be exhausting... How convenient, that twilight was unintentionally providing a suitable cover story for Rarity. 😅 Talk about Party crashers :D and AJ´s line about the garden party always gets me XD Aaand the cat is out of the bag and Fancy Pants shows his unstuck side and has a surprisingly good opinion about Rarities friends. - He is my favourite "stuck up" Pony in canterlot :D The poor porter pony :o carrying all that stuff - yeez rarity... learn to pack lightly - please :D I agree with you, a more in-depth lesson about it would have been nice... but you shouldnt forget it is primarily a kids show and this topic is quite a difficult one for kids to understand. - So the lession delivered here is good enough to understand the principle behind it and of being proud of who you are, where u come from and be proud of your friends. - and to stick with them. It was an interesting episode, more worldbuilding, a good song and new ponies to know. But i can understand why you rate it lower than the first couple of episodes. Thank you and Sorry again... 😅

2024-04-13 17:23:35 +0000 UTCThe canterlot ponies are stuck up, they have a lot more money so they are really fancy, I enjoyed this episode, I like that fancy pants was very accepting of twilight and her friends that it was fine for rarity to be friends with them, he’s like the only good of the rich ponies, and you could tell that the canterlot ponies just follow him as in like whatever he says they like and it’s fake like how they wanted the dress after he gave it his approval, rarity has made pretty good character development she has goals in canterlot but she wouldn’t let that get in the way of her friendship I love how she stood up for them, and the song in this episode is amazing, it’s a big one in the fandom, it’s loved and the bronies have made remixes of it so everyone that song.
