I looove the historical and world building episodes! So this one was a treat and I agree with everything you said in the first part of your comment. Great blend of the personalities, types, and how codependent they all are. Ahhh that’s interesting. Seems we need a proper more in depth history of Princess celestia I’ll probably forget but still excited to see these. Reminds me of the elementals from adventure time 😂

2024-04-15 09:24:34 +0000 UTCOh yeas "Hearths Warming Eve" - one of my most favourite episodes with lot´s of lore and worldbuilding. We finally get the story about how Equestria was founded and the diversity/hatret/relationship of the 3 main pony-races (and what they did), which introduced us to a very interesting foe/spirit entity, the Windigos (or how i like to call them the winterghosts XD). The leaders were so hot-headed and prejudiced - good thing the advisors were not (as one should be) and lead to the so called "Fire of Friendship", the burning Heart which represents the unity between the tribes. - I too like how Hearth Warming Eve is a reference to Christmas. I love all this worldbuilding with the leaders and historic events and an episode which contains a kind of "show dont tell" lesson about accepting each other. - Also, it's winter again, thus we could estimate, that at least one year has passed since Twilight came to Ponyville. Overall one of the best episodes: I loved the writing here and all the jokes and transitions in between completed by a Christmasy-Like sounding carol-song. Some Further thoughts: It seems to be quite a distance from Ponyville to Canterlot, that they had to take the train to get there. Aw poor derpy (at 2:15) :o The prejudices goes hard: Snobby unicorns, dumb earth-ponies and hot-headed Pegasi :D A horse riding a horse... something i would have never thought of seeing ever. One thing a lot people in the fandom pointed out was an illogical error in showing the current flag of equestria, with Celestia and Luna on it when they theroretically couldnt be there cause it was told before, that only the unicorns have risen that sun and moon before. And as we know, Celestia and Luna raises the Sun and Moon now... Some summarized infos for you: (Unicornia) Daughter of the unicorn king, Princess Platinum & Clover the Clever (Pegalosopolis) Ruler of the Pegasi, Commander Hurricane & Private Pansy (Earth) Ruler of the Earth-Ponies, Chancellor Puddinghead & Smart Cookie You should remember Clover the Clever who seems to be a student of Starswirl the Bearded. BTW.: Fluttershys "woo" at the beginning was a reference to an older episode "A bird in a hoof" when she was trying to get Philomena the Phoenix to eat the soup - which reminded me of this cute and amazing musicvideo called "FlutterTrain" by Warpout (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKX2mH4RhQ4) (its spoilerfree you should watch it) RD's entry as an amazing drop is really cool to look at.
