My Little Pony Season 2 Review
There we go! This season was leaps and bounds better than Season 1 as the formula of every pony being able to write letters and learn lesson gives this show a new injection that allows for episodes to not include every pony and give the said character their own shine. This was impressive as Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy had some extremely well written and dedicated episodes and moments. Rarity with some much needed work and a redemption while Rainbow Dash surprisingly capturing my heart with her growth and softer side. We also double down into more historical aspect of the show with discord, changelings, and the origination of Ponyville and Equestria.
This season had a surplus of moving and exceptional episodes that mixed well with the episodic and one off stories. Then with the bookends of the season being such inspiring and paramount events, this season was well structured. While there are going to be weaker and unimpressive episodes from time to time, this season manages to learn from the slow beginning it had and levels up! Many episodes and this season is what I expected and surmised about what this show can be. And I keep getting told it gets better. Color me excited. Oh and I’m a Luna Stan. That is all.
(You can about characters since I’m about to go to the gym 😂)
