About your interest in lore vs character conflict: The show does have great lore, but the first two seasons are more about character conflict. The lore gets much heavier after that. As for Adora and Catra's rivalry, I think you will appreciate what they do with it. There is a level of emotional maturity to it (especially once they start diving into the backstory of the characters) that is a little unexpected considering the nature of the show. I can't wait for your reactions to the remainder of the season.
