Oh, I totally hear your comment about the "Youtube effect." I did some live reactions for the final epilogue series of this show a few years back, and while I didn't really edit my videos to the same extent you do, it DID start to make watching it in that season of life a bit of a chore. It's nice to just get to experience a show naturally sometimes, and if doing Patreon exclusive no-edit no-fuss videos is how you can best do that for yourself, then all the power to you! 2023-12-14 03:10:33 +0000 UTCThe Centipeetle freaked out towards the end because Garnet brought out her gauntlets which it found frightening/threatening. This episode does a good job of showing that the Gems can sometimes make things worse with how they handle situations -- the Centipeetle always responds with fear and aggression to them because they approach it with hostility, whereas Steven's kindness and patience helps the Centipeetle feel safe and calm down.
