Oh man, this episode makes Sadie- for once- more unlikable within the immediate narrative for me than Lars XD We got some really grey morality going on here, and I feel the folks above sum it up very well. I adore the song Steven sings in this episode!

2023-12-14 05:20:37 +0000 UTCAgreed with Duck here, Lars can be jerk a lot of the time but he had every right to be mad at Sadie for hiding the Warp, if he wanted to leave just because he was annoyed she should've let him. Also their relationship is definetly very complicated, it's pretty obvious that Lars being as obnoxious and grumpy as he is comes from a place of deep rooted insecurity, it's very similar to what Catra was going through in She-ra... luckily he has people like Steven around him to help work around his attitude issues and slowly get better... Sadie on the hand should probably not put so much effort into someone that just takes her for granted... and this is probably due to codependency, we never see Sadie hanging out with other people other than Lars so it's not hard to assume that Lars is probably the only close connection she has besides her family. But i do kinda see what Sadie sees in Lars, he does have the potential to be good but that potential it's being held down by his insecurities. it is frustrating to see these 2 not working out their problems... but i also think that was the intention... to portrey a really messy and codependent relationship that needs a lot of things to improve.
