I always start my recordings at 00:00:00 of the show to make timecode syncing much easier and the timecode is included. I watch through any recaps (if any) and intros. If you're curious, this little side adventure IS in the manga, but actually takes place BEFORE Syrup Village there. So in that version, Usopp isn't around yet and neither is Zoro as he spends the whole event sleeping off his Buggy wounds in the boat. Also, to explain the "boxed son" joke with Gaimon, it's a pun on the Japanese term "boxed daughter", which was used to describe an overly sheltered daughter being kept from the outside world and especially Western influences. (The dub goes with "jack-in-the-box" instead, presumably because they knew we wouldn't get the joke.)

2023-11-05 10:39:04 +0000 UTCI'm glad that you didn't skip this episode, some people say it's filler (and to a certain degree it is) but it's still a heartwarming adventure which is very worth watching just for the character interactions and wacky situations.
