I can't help but feel like Garnet's future vision and Steven's reaction to it is akin to how it feels to live with OCD. Countless possibilities for every action, and your brain focuses on all the worst ones until you're paranoid of everything. I don't know if that was the writers' intention or not, but it's an interesting comparison to me at the very least.

2024-08-31 17:22:04 +0000 UTCYou've mentioned multiple times how much you loved Garnet's "sure, why not" attitude to Steven trying something new, and how she encourages learning by experience, and I think the future vision lore you learn about her here explains WHY she's so open to him jumping into the action more than the other two Crystal Gems- she can glimpse into the most probable outcomes and see that Steven will not likely get harmed, and most likely learn a valuable lesson.
