This episode is one of my favorites to this day, everything about it is so special. I listen to that song at least once a month. Greg and Rose episodes are always a delight!!!!!

2024-01-27 15:27:37 +0000 UTCGiven the context we have... it's not a surprise that Pearl used to be so condescending and mean towards Greg, one because she obviously was the most attached to Rose and Two... because they are beings who can live pretty much forever as long as their gems are not cracked. From Pearl's perspective Greg was just a phase because they can live forever and he can't... until this specific moment of course. And it's really sad if you think about it... you spend thousands of years with someone, thinking your bond with them is above everything else... but then another person comes into the picture... your special someone falls in love with them and suddenly that special someone it's gone because she decided to have the offspring of that third person. it's like.... i cannot even imagine being in Pearl's shoes in that situation.... let alone how she felt. And yes, i know... this episode isn't just about Pearl... but what can i say? im biased towards her xdd.
