HAZBIN HOTEL 1X5 "Dad Beat Dad" Full Length Reaction

I heard past tense during the reaction, but he was actually speaking in the present. I noticed it when rewatching the episode. I'll be recording an extra bit with revised thoughts/theories when I edit the video, so keep that in mind when you watch the review/thoughts portion of this video.
Here is my full length unedited reaction for Hazbin Hotel! This only includes my reaction and thoughts. There is no intro. I always start my recordings at 00:00:00 of the show to make timecode syncing much easier and the timecode is included. I watch through any recaps (if any) and intros. 2024-01-27 11:28:28 +0000 UTC[SORRY IN ADVANCE, THIS COMMENT IS GONNA BE LONG] Im with you on this Mikey... i don't know what i was expecting of Lucifer but him being a depressed and ackward dork was a really nice surprise. i imagined him being this high and mighty-larger-than-life figure (at least for those in Hell) but this interpretation of him actually warms my heart. And we have the introduction of Mimzy! she's actually a character that goes way back in the production of Hazbin Hotel, Vivzie originally wrote her as Alastor's partner/girlfriend and she was going to be a much more prominent character... but obviously all that changed when she decided to make Alastor Asexual. Here she reveals the she and Alastor know each other since they were alive... which makes sense. And by the way... you can actually spot Mimzy in the Pilot. She has a very brief cameo during the song "Inside of Every Demon is a Rainbow", more specifically towards the end of the song. i really liked her info dump about Alastor, it's a very clear homage to Vaggie's info dump about him in the Pilot.... even the imagery used here it's also very similar to the one used in the Pilot. And one last fun fact about Mimzy that is quite exciting for me personally... is that she's voiced by none other than Sarah Stiles, who also voices a character who is very dear to me in Steven Universe. But obviously i can't say more about it since it would be spoilers. Now... talking about Alastor... the fact that he has such animosity with Lucifer from the get-go and without even knowing him personally it's very interesting, specially now that he's trying to get Charlie to look at him as a Father Figure (which is funny taking into account that Charlie is most likely older than him). And it gets even more interesting thanks to Husk... who says that Alastor is also "on a leash", this line also aligns with what Vaggie said on the Pilot by the way -Many have speculated what Unimagible Force enabled him to rival our world's most ancient and destructive evils- is what she said. These reveals makes me all the more suspicious towards Lilith... in the Lore dump from episode 1 we know that she "thrived and inspired Demon-kind with her voice and her songs" and we also know that she disappeared at the same time as Alastor did (7 years ago), which makes me suspect that she might the one having Alastor "on a leash". It seems to me that perhaps Lilith wants to actively antagonize Heaven but her husband lost his will to fight so perhaps she purposely distanced herself and their daughter from him. And now that Charlie started her Hotel and is finding out the truth about all that is really happening between Heaven and Hell she might end up wanting to go against Heaven.... which might be what Lilith wanted all along. If Alastor is actually the servant of Lilith then his actual objective in the Hazbin Hotel might be to ensure that Charlie falls in the path to go to war against Heaven, as well as keeping her away from her father. I don't know.... all the evidence seems to point towards Lilith being some kind of Evil Mastermind, but until we meet her properly we can't be sure.
