The first scene of this episode with the song was the very first bit of this show I ever saw, so this is a very sentimental ep to me! My choir instructor at the time (this was 2016, I believe?) saw the clip of the song on his YouTube recommended, and ended up showing it at the beginning of class as a reminder for us to not stress ourselves out so much before finals week, and to take time to relax too. Then my friend leaned over and whispered "hey I think you'd really like this show, it's called Steven Universe" and the rest is history. I love the silly little moment Steven has with Lion, trying to goad him into making them a super warp by reminding Lion Earth being destroyed would mean no Lion Lickers and naps. "I guess it was naps." Steven, you doof. XD Equally as entertaining to me is his joy at bouncing around in low gravity on the moon base. I feel like the folks above me have already shared a lot of interesting musings about the scene after this, so I shall leave it at that!

It's really charming to see how Peridot learns the value of earth in ways we didn't get to see from the crystal gems. We already know they love earth, but seeing an outsider struggling to understand and connect with their ideals is so interesting.
