I always start my recordings at 00:00:00 of the show to make timecode syncing much easier and the timecode is included. I watch through any recaps (if any) and intros. Ahahah this one has some good jokes and gags in it I forgot about- Steven and Sour Cream's "We could invite some ants..." "Aunts, uncles... music is for everyone"... the Onion gag with him being the only one who likes the soda... Steven doing a "mic check" but it's just looking at the mic bc he's too short and then it's not even turned on... silly stuff, ahah. Marty is an incredibly puntable character to me. Just as slimy as his damn Guacola, lol. It's lovely that Sour Cream has a far better father figure in his life to at least in some way make up for his crummy bio dad. And that cliffhanger-! Ten million dollars! Whoa, yeah, that was a huge shock to me too when I first saw this episode.

In the episode called "A Story For Steven" which is when we see him for the first time.... he was introduced "hanging out" with a young Vidalia (SC and Onion's mom) inside Greg's Van. Also in the episode "Onion Friend" where we meet Present Time Vidalia... Amethyst ask "are you still with Marty?" and Vidalia responds "Marty?! i don't even know where that guy is... it's just been me and Yellowtail" so there it was sort of implied that Marty was SC's father... and also because Sour Cream has always called Yellowtail his Stepdad so we knew he wasn't his biological father. Don't know if you noticed but Marty's Present Time Design was Heavily inspired by Mr. Burns from The Simpsons.
