you've been exposed to your First Zoan-Type Devil Fruit, The Ox Ox Fruit Model Bison. The term "Zoan" originates from Ancient Greek... zôia (ζῷᾰ), plural of zôion (ζῷον), which means "animal" or "beast" As the term indicates it's a type of Devil Fruit that let's it's user transform into an animal... as well as a hybrid between human and the animal in question, as seen in the episode itself... how Dalton went from transforming into a Regular Bison to reach Wapol's location faster... to trasnforming into a Anthropomorphic/Humanoid Bison capable of using his weirdly-shaped sword.
