STEVEN UNIVERSE 3X15 "Alone At Sea" Full Length Reaction

Here is my full length unedited reaction for Steven Universe! This only includes my reaction and thoughts. The video for the show is blurred and muted because of copyright, and I’m not trying to get in trouble. There is no intro. I always start my recordings at 00:00:00 of the show to make timecode syncing much easier and the timecode is included. I watch through any recaps (if any) and intros. But it always starts at 00:00:00. Must have your own copy to watch along with, since I can't offer that due to copyright laws. Streamer: Max

It is no wonder why this feels like a real conversation with a Toxic Ex, Rebecca Sugar admitted that she based Lapis ans Jasper's relationship on her own experience with an Ex. I agree with Novantinuum... i love how the show doesn't conform with saying that Lapis was the sole victim of the Malachite Situation.... like.... Yes, it is true that Jasper was the initial instigator... but Lapis was the one who tricked her and kept locked up under the Ocean, they were both horrible to each other. This episode also made Jasper's character more nuanced and complex without sacrificing her original Relentless and fierce demeanor, she is in essence... the same character she was in Season 1... but now with more depth. That's why i love her as an Antagonist. Season 3 once again being Peak SU, no surprise there. Not gonna lie... The S.S Misery joke was kinda dark.... but also brilliant, especially knowing all the things Lapis has gone through xdd.

"Why would a fish ever bite a hook?" It's an ironic question coming from Lapis, who should know better than anyone why people choose to do things that are destructive to their well-being. Jasper shows up to tempt her into becoming Malachite again, and between Lapis's genuine feelings of missing Jasper & Malachite and Jasper throwing the entire DARVO playbook at her, it would be understandable if Lapis took the bait. But she doesn't; she rejects the hook she once allowed herself to be reeled in on. A big part of that is probably down to Steven's support of her since Malachite unfused, but ultimately the kudos must go to Lapis herself for finding the strength to refuse to go back to a bad situation. Lapis & Steven honking the horn nonstop cracks me up. It reminds me of when they first met in "Mirror Gem" and they spent hours on the beach making fart noises with each other. Nothing bonds Lapis and Steven together more than making irritating noises, it seems.
