2024-05-07 04:50:19 +0000 UTCThis is probably gonna become a huge ugly paragraph because I am on mobile and can’t press enter- but I’ve realized a side benefit of the actual episode being in the Patreon video now is that I can watch these on my work breaks, so that’s cool. I always laugh a lot at the Rubies’ antics when Amethyst is totally bamboozling them with her Jasper impression. My favorite of her quick thinking moments is excusing her own purple coloration by calling it a tan from the sun. Also- yeah, the reveal about Rose’s actions during the war we get here is a big shocker. I feel really bad for Steven having to learn this information- like, imagine learning that the parent you grew up revering and are trying everything to emulate outright murdered someone. That’s a horrendous burden for a child to have to carry, and even more so for Steven, given his unique circumstances of literally carrying a piece of his mother with him. Poor kiddo.
