Dang, a double feature today! Well, I'm here for it. Like you said, lots of exposition mainly, but some cool worldbuilding too. And the Kung Fu Dugongs join the list of "Cool but absolutely not making the live action" critters.

What I’m about to say it’s just a headcanon… but the way studio Toei drew Ace’s face when he was staring at Sanji at the beginning of the episode kinda looks intentional… it looks like he’s blushing while looking at him… that small detail has made some fans to create the headcanon that Ace is either Bi or Gay, and to be honest… I do dig that headcanon. The Kung Fu Dugongs are indeed very cute, one of my favorite fictional animal species of this series.
