Same Lucas wasn’t being rude he was being rational. It’s literally so suspicious that a girl came the same day all the supernatural creatures came out of the gate. AND when your friend went missing. You can’t just turn a blind eye because eleven is a cool GIRL with superpowers. WILL their friend is IN DANGER and she could very much been the cause of it in season 1. I respect Lucas fully for his decision especially because she was rarely telling them the full truth.

Lucas’s behaviour is rational. I found Lucas annoying in season 1 because we see additional things. We get the whole story. We see that Eleven can be trusted and suffered terribly and is why she is behaving a certain way. All of that is at the forefront when Lucas rightfully questions things or reacts to certain things. That’s all it is.

I fully understand Lucas tho, this is a stranger you met in the woods like 2 days ago with superpowers, U meet them in the exact same place that your friend disappeared without any trace, i'd be so suspicious of her and then to find out she's not telling u the full truth, I'd be so mad. if she thought it wasn't safe she could tell them that and explain why but she just decided to lie and be mysterious about it but your friends are just blindly trusting her cause she's literally the only girl their age that has ever spoken to them.
