Sadly Frog Ford is never coming home, Frog Dipper and Frog Mabel won't get to visit their Frog Grunkle Stan, but at least Frog Bill Cipher is now dead considering what Ford was up to before being brought back in Gravity Falls.

Said in the community page but I’ve been holding my tongue about this episode since you said you were doing Amphibia, i am SO glad you got to experience this blind. Tbh there was a lot of promo for this episode, and hearing about this episode is actually what gave me the push to watch Amphibia, because I just missed GF so much and wanted to watch this episode with context. So idk if anyone was actually going into this blind, Matt Braly and Alex Hirsch were going bonkers on Twitter talking about how exciting it was to bring back Stan and Soos for a while way before the episode actually aired. There was a lotta hype, at least in my social media circles. The canned meat, the Bill-esque rug, the hidden ciphers, Schmebulock, even one of the wax figures being an Axolotl, it’s just very obvious that the team loved Gravity Falls, which is so nice to see. Iirc, GF was Matt Braly’s first industry job, so it must have been fun to call up his first animation boss and have him cameo on his own show, (just like Alex casting his first boss as Gideon.) Alex and Matt have said that they imagine this being the year before Frog Dipper and Frog Mabel visit the shack and stay for their first summer, which is probably a small part of why the Curator is so much worse than the Stan we know and love— he hasn’t had that summer with his family yet. The stress of trying to bring Frog Ford home must be getting to the poor man.
