My thought the second she walked out from behind Tuba was that she was a null that One-one created to teach them how to empathize with the denizens. But now that you've seen 5 & 6, you probably kinda see the route that actually takes. Super interesting.

I won't say anything about what actually happens with the kid, but I can tell you the theory that popped into my mind the second I saw her if you want to hear. But I get if hearing people's theories might feel spoiler-y even if it's from when they don't know what's actually gonna happen, so I won't share those unless you say you want to hear them.
