Yeah, first time seeing Blackbeard was one of the most unique display of a villain. 0 pathos and mystery, just random dude that loves pies and talks about dreams

The book kuma is holding is actually the Bible. also another thing, rockstars bounty says its 94 mil, and hes a rookie on shanks crew, shows how formidable shanks is appearing to be

Some One Piece community phraseology for you: Getting one-shotted = getting Bellamy-ed!

Sorry for the Long Comment in Advance, it's just that i really like separating and categorizing the information when any Lore Dump happens xddd. I think the most badass part about Luffy defeating Bellamy with just one punch... is the fact that he didn't use any of his usual Gum Gum attacks, he didn't use the power of his Devil Fruit at all..... just his own pure strenght. We are getting really substantial Lore in this episode, and A LOT of names... so here we go. We are officially presented to the Holy Land Mary Geoise, the Capital of the World Goverment. We have already seen this place before at the end of the Drum Island Arc, when Dalton remembers back at the a Meeting of Kings called "Levely" and he met Vivi for the first time when she was just a little girl. We are also presented the Supreme Authority of the World Goverment... "The Five Elder Stars", the 5 People who are making the biggest decisions and issuing the most important commands. They definetely seem like Geezers who have a lot of interesting things to say. We get to 2 more Warlords of the Sea... - Donquixote Doflamingo...who's Family name it's a very obvious reference (also his given name goes really well with his own coat). - And Bartholomew Kuma... who's design does resemble a Bear (y'know... "Kuma" means Bear in Japanese), and also he's holding a Bible for some reason xdd. Now we know the identity of 4 Warlords of the Sea... Mihawk, Crocodile (Former), Doflamingo and Kuma. We also know (thanks to the Live-Action) the name of another Warlord... Jimbe, who is a Fishman and who Arlong described as a "Fool". which leaves only 2 other Warlords of which we still know nothing about. We meet Vice-Admiral Tsuru "The Tactician" who certianly looks like a very seasoned and experienced lady. And we are also presented to Fleet Admiral Sengoku, and as you know.... Fleet Admiral is the Highest Rank in the Marines... so Sengoku is a very Big Shot. It is also interesting to finally see who is occupying the seat of Fleet Admiral instead of Garp, because if you remember... in the Live-Action Garp claims that he could have been Fleet Admiral at this point... but that he always refused the promotions to maintain his freedom. We also finally meet the Blackbeard Pirates, and Blackbeard himself... Marshall D. Teach, the same Blackbeard that we heard about all the way back in Drum Island... him and his Crew being the reason Chopper's Country was devastated and also why King Wapol fled the island and ended up lost in the sea (where Luffy first encountered him). The same Blackbeard who was originally a member of Whitebeard's Crew but killed one of his Crewmates and it's the reason why Luffy's Brother Ace is Hunting him. Marshall D. Teach definetely seems like a very dangerous fella, but curiously enough.... a fella who just like Luffy.... firmly believes in Dreams. And of course.... We end up meeting the Legend himself... Edward Newgate AKA Whitebeard, the Captain of Portgaz D. Ace and the holder of the Title of the Strongest Man in the World. He most certainly carries a powerful presence, being a VERY large dude contributes to that factor a lot xddd (and just in case... No, he's not a Giant, he's simply a 21-foot-tall Human xddd). And to end this comment here's a fun fact: If you combine Whitebeard and Blackbeard's real names... Edward Newgate and Marshall D. Teach.... you end up with the name of the real-life Pirate Blackbeard... Edward Teach.

I totally forgot I said that! Damn it Blackbeard!

Luffy one-shotting Bellamy will never not be awesome. Already can't wait for the live action version of that, even though it won't be until at least Season 3 should it get that far. I love that this show screws with how you'd expect the power progression to go. Like Mihawk showing up long before Zoro has any chance against him, now we have a new villain showing up AFTER Luffy's already grown beyond that point. Bellamy would've been pretty bad news had he been around in East Blue, but after Luffy just beat Crocodile? Yeah, no. Glad you (eventually) realized Blackbeard was Pie Person. Remember when you were like "I officially endorse that guy! Hope he's not evil or something!" Nope, just one of the most infamous pirates in real-life history is all. :P
