2024-08-13 00:24:59 +0000 UTCYes, Skypea is the official name of this arc. Just like the Sky Knight's Bird was voiced by Zoro's VA, Suu the little Cloud Fox is voiced by Nami's VA (Akemi Okamura). So in case you don't remember the "Sea Prism Stone" is the material that the Marines use to counteract Devil Fruit Users. Smoker's weapon is made of that material, and the Cage where Crocodile had the Strawhats captive under his Casino was also made of Sea Prism Stone. The Wings of the Sky People are real but they don't use them, and it isn't that they don't wanna use them.... it seems like they literally can't use them for an unknown reason (this was revealed by Oda in a Question's Corner).

In the manga during the final Chapters of the Jaya Arc it's where Oda drew the Wapol Cover Story, which is meant to tell us what happened to Wapol after Luffy sent him flying out of Drum Island. Here's a summary of the Cover Story..... Wapol ends up landing on an unkown Island were he beggins to eat random stuff like trees, lamps and Benches, the people started confusing him with the scenery so they try sitting on him, Wapol gets annoyed so he starts eating an entire entire town out of frustration. Which in turn causes him to be arrested by the Marines. Meanwhile on Drum Island we learn that Dalton has been Crowned as the New King of Drum Island, with the kingdom being re-named as the "Sakura Kingdom" (referencing the Cherry Blossoms) and the old official flag of the nation is also replaced by Doctor Hiriluk's Jolly Roger. Wapol manages to escape from the Marines but is forced into hiding and to live as a vagabond trying to sell matches during the Winter to bystander, who are disgusted at his presence. He spends his days living under a bridge enduring the kids that constantly throw rocks at him... and eating broken toys to satiate his hunger. In one of those occasions when he was eating the broken toys... he decided to use his ability "Munch-Munch Factory" to combine them, ending up with a much bigger and much more impressive toy, he kept creating more of these combined toys until the children took notice of them and liked them very much. Wapol saw this as an opportunity to make a living. He started to auction his Creation to the Children which became really popular in the town where he now lived, so much so that he managed to open a small Toy Stand where he continued to Sell them. One of the boys who bought one of the Toys brought it to his father who was a scientist, the father took notice that the materials of the combined Toy contained a never-before-seeing and very strong alloy, the scientist then quickly contacted Wapol and convinced him to enter a partnership with him to keep producing more of the strange alloy which Wapol fittingly decided to call "Wapometal", together they were incredibly succesful which allowed Wapol to open a much bigger Toy Store. Eventually Wapol became rich enough to open a Factory, then a Company, and even an entire Conglomerate. Thanks to this he also ends up marrying a beautiful woman named "Kinderella" otherwise known as "Miss Universe". And at the end Wapol's new insignia and influence reaches the entire Globe, and with his Wife Kinderella and his Mun-Munch Modified Dog "Hakowan" at his side.... Wapol revels at the fact that he had become far more richer and powerful than he ever was as a King. And that's how the Cover Story Ends xddd.

2024-08-05 00:54:23 +0000 UTCThe lore and worldbuilding of Skypiea is really really neat. Honestly, it feels like you could make an entirely different show out of this place, especially with the characters just getting to relax and soak it in for a while.
