In case it wasn’t clear…. Yeah, you just met Glob himself, the same Glob that all the inhabitants of Ooo mention every time they’re referring to “God”, like when they say “Oh my Glob”. Not only that… Magic Man is the little brother of Glob! What a twist. As awful and insane Magic Man is… it appears he also deals with ghost of the past. That picture of him and a woman who he calls “Margles” creates new questions for his character. Finn was able to activate the Martian Transporter because Magic Man mentioned it is powered by love, so Magic Man saying it’s broken makes sense since he probably hasn’t felt any love for anyone in 200 years. We get to meet Abraham Lincoln, who is the King of Mars nonetheless xddd. Now it makes sense why someone as powerful as Hunson Abadeer would have a picture of him alongside Lincoln hanged on his house. It is always a delight every time Pendleton Ward gets to voice a new character xddd. Good job catching those little details in the penny that Lincoln offered to Death, it’s clear the staff of the show want to make everything as vague as possible. Also one really interesting detail is that… after Lincoln offered his inmortality and Death accepted the deal… when the screen goes white you can actually hear the sound effect of a Gunshot. It is theorized that this is a reference to how the real Abraham Lincoln died… and how in the Adventure Time universe… when he was shot in the theater and was supposed to die… he instead cheated death by tricking him into trading a penny for immortality. And that’s why Death said “not this time” when he offered the penny during this episode.
