wow, i mean... i read the post saying that you might be posting a movie reaction soon but this is still a pleasant surprise. let's be honest... this sequel was never gonna feel as impactful and magical as the first ones. Yes, the visuals are amazing as to be expected from Pixar but... we no longer have that "novelty" of this entire concept. But either way... i LOVE how they handled this sequel, especially how they represented Anxiety's character, her voice acting (Maya Hawke did a phenomenal job with her voice), her mannerism, they way of her decision making... and the fact that she (as an emotion) is so powerful that when she spirals out of control she can't even stop her own influence from affecting Riley's mind (because it really do be like that in real life). The other new emotions were really fun too, Embarassment obviously got the best deal and development, Ennui (Boredom) was also fun... not too much screentime or interactions but still fun. Envy is the only that i think didn't really get to shine in this movie.... she seemed more like Anxiety's plus one than her own character. And to finish i gotta say that i also loved how the conflict was resolved, with Riley CHOOSING which emotion she wanted to feel when she got her new sense of self. Because that's also what happens in reality... as we get older and we develop our sense of self we get more control of our emotions.
