dude... it was already kinda difficult for Zach Callison to maintain Steven's normal kid voice since he obviously grew up and got passed puberty while the show aired..... so hitting those final high notes.... even if it was in falsetto, it must've been REALLY hard. Ah yes... "The Old Universe Charm", that one became one of the biggest memes in the fandom. People even went one step further and drew very.... spicy stuff about Greg and the Diamonds xddd (not that surprising on the internet really). The only other relevant thing i have to say about this is that...... it is a very sad prospect that in order for this episode to be made and aired, for Ruby and Sapphire's very explicitely GAY wedding to have existed.... Season 6 had to be cancelled. F*ck you, Cartoon Network Executives! I wanna extend myself on this specific subject but i fear that if i do i will end up on spoiler territoy so i will restrain myself for now and wait until you have uploaded your reaction to the Season 5 Finale.

Hope you've gotten that good rest since then. This is one of those episodes where I genuinely still remember exactly where and how I was sitting and who was in the room with me when I watched it. Particularly, I recall basically yelling in shock when Yellow smashed her foot down on Steven. Now, mind you- in the original airing, I'm pretty damn sure this was a commercial break. I can't remember for 100% but it certainly was cut like one. Wow, though. Such a hype episode. I don't actually have too much additional to say about this one because I think it generally speaks for itself, but wow. Fun times.
