Now, on the topic of S1 being the weakest, I think that is normal for any show tbh, they are still trying to find their footing and their humor and such. I think one of the biggest changes that makes the next seasons so great, is that they finally realized what they wanted to do with Darwin and Anais characters. I feel like they are a lot more plain in S1 compared to here. You can already see, in the previous episode how now Darwin is not just like Gumball's "dumb" sidekick, but now he is more of a moral compass, while still being a little shit just like Gumball, which makes the dinamic a lot more fun.

2024-09-13 21:28:32 +0000 UTCI had forgotten that they change they designs as early as S2, but yet again I had already forgotten about the old designs until rewatching it with you lol. I remember as a kid I didn't even noticed it until someone pointed it out to me.
