2024-09-14 00:50:20 +0000 UTCWooooo! Opening 4 is here! "Bon Voyage" has finally arrived! I gotta say, i love this opening, mostly for the song itself.... it's such a vibe! If i had to rank it in comparison to the rest of the openings i think i would put "Bon Voyage" in my Number 6 or 7 (keep in mind that there are currently 26 openings). My personal ranking of the openings you have heard so far... 4.- Opening 2 "Believe!" the song is not bad, it is actually quite catchy... but it is still one of my least favorite openings, mostly because the visuals are pretty uninspired to me. 3.- Opening 3 "Hikari e" a mid tier opening for me, i like it but it's nothing special compared to the reeeeally good ones (also minus points in my list because it did spoil me about Robin when i watched the anime for the first time). 2.- Opening 4 "Bon Voyage" like i said... i love this opening, it definetely falls in my Top 10, every time i hear it i can't help but sing along. 1.- Opening 1 "We Are" i mean... not really that surprising, this song it's just too iconic, there is really no other opening that captures the essence of this story more perfectly than this intro. But i gotta say.... it is not my favorite...... there are 2 other openings which i personally like more.

2024-09-14 00:39:39 +0000 UTCI do like it when One Piece shakes up the foundations of what you're expecting just a little by having one of the villains taken out by a side character instead of one of the Straw Hats. It's a good way to give characters like Wyper a bit more agency instead of just relegating them to NPC cannon fodder.
