Don't worry Mikey, Jake was most likely just doing a "pretend date" with Cinnamon Bun because the guy is so dense and dumb that he can't really get an actual girlfriend, at least that is the headcanon i have. either that or Finn and Jake just like to mess with CB by making him think that he actually has a girlfriend (which would be kinda messed up so i prefer the first explanation). Yeah, if you recall the last Lemongrab episode... the Lemongrab Castle was still empty, only the Black and White Lemongrabs where left there to inhabit it. So it makes sense that they used the Candy-life formula, that does explain why there are so many Lemon beings in there now. Dude... same, i also love that shot where Lemonjon emerges and we see his gigantic steps from Finn and Jake's point of view, one of my favorite shots of the season (and of the whole series). Also that makes me realize something.... Bubblegum DID give them a life-time worth of food, if that wasn't the case then they couldn't have had created a being so Massive as Lemonjon. Y'know.... for all the questionable things Bubblegum has done.... one of the things i will always praise her for is the fact that she never tries to change Lemongrab/s, she knows this is how he/they act and she respects it. And yes, she's aware that they can be a big manace to society from time to time.... but they're also her children, she created them so it's understandable that she only wants the best for them. And also.... this show would not be the same without Lemongrab, this series just would not be it's chaotic and charmingly weird self without these characters.

2024-10-01 21:49:10 +0000 UTCI was young when this episode came out and I HATED it which is funny because now it’s like one of my favorites (I really like Lemongrab/the lemon kingdom conceptually, it’s so delightfully uncomfortable) but as a kid this just freaked me the fuck out, genuinely horrible in the best way is how I’d describe most lemongrab centered episodes.
