2024-11-02 04:16:17 +0000 UTCWelcome to the world of Guest-animated episodes of Adventure Time! some of these are really fun (not all of them) and it's really neat to see the show animated in different ways.... just comes to show how massive and popular AT became back in the day. A disclaimer tho..... All of these guest-animated episodes are Non-Canon, these are just the writters and storyboarders having fun with the new concepts and formats without disturbing the actual storyline and characters of the show. Good catch with the Luger Pistol! it is indeed a Pink Luger (tho it serves as a tranquilizer gun), and just how you said it.... the fact that it is a German-made gun... it's thematically perfect for Bubblegum's character xddd. Man.... that ONE SECOND LATER scene gotta be on my top 10 jokes of the whole show for me, it always makes me just burst in laughter xddd. I'll be honest... from watching the show multiple times i've already got used to the trippyness of this episode.... but the one thing i will nerver get used to... is that last scene of Jake and Bubblegum secretely kissing each other with their hands. Adventure Time has a lot of double-meaning jokes and even suggestive dialogues and scenes.... but that interaction between PB and Jake feels like it shouldn't even be on a show for all ages xddd.

The animator for this, David OReilly, is an Irish animator who animates with purposefully stripped down 3d graphics. He did the animation in the music video for U2's "I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight" and the animated guide sequences in the film version of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy among others. He also made the games 'Mountain' and 'Everything'. The weird girl eating hair video is a real video that he has on his youtube channel.
