So.... if after watching this episode you're wondering what's the deal with this character and why is it called James Baxter.... here's a quick explanation. James Baxter is a veteran animator who is currently known for his incredibly fluid and organic animations, the man is a legend in the animation industry. This episode is basically a Love Letter to him, therefore why the horse is called James Baxter and why his sole purpose (in the show) is to make everyone around him happy.... because that's how the majority of artists feel when they work with the guy in real life. You have actually already seen his work previously Mikey.... In the Season 5 Finale of Steven Universe, the scene where Steven and Pink Steven reunite in front of White Diamond and they hug and laugh together.... that sequence was animated by James Baxter. That's why in that reaction i commented that you would be more acquainted with the name "James Baxter" rather soon xddd. And yes... aside from his voice James also animated his Horse-self in this episode, that's why his movements are so crazy smooth.
