William is probably one of the most underused side characters; he's not prominent enough to be one of the main people Gumball & Darwin hangout with regularly, but also not obscure enough to just be forgotten about. Like all the other side-character-focused episodes, he also appeared in season 1. The only thing we really know about William is that his description on the old CN website says that he supposedly spies on the kids in Miss Simian's class and snitches on them to her, even though the show doesn't bring up this fact at all (and also the fact he cant talk?) Poor Banana Joe, he can't seem to catch a break. That weightlifting scene is pretty horrific if you really think about it. Also yes in this episode it confirms that Gumball is in fact not his real name, but rather a nickname! Nice little tid-bit of trivia i guess.
