FINALLY- I've been waiting for the joy episode for so long ๐ญ๐ It absolutely scarred me when I was little-

2024-11-24 07:42:01 +0000 UTCWe have gone through many episodes including various background characters, and now that it's season 3, only a few haven't shared that same light yet. So the logical solution would be to introduce new characters, like Sarah and now the Coach, as well as giving Jamie her first major role in an episode. Jamie was another bg character in the previous seasons, she had small bits of dialogue showing her mean/brutal side, which aligns pretty well with her bully personality in this episode. This technically makes Tina and Jamie the biggest bullies in the school. Although Jamie is probably the meaner bully, Tina is just misunderstood, as shown in season 1. I love how dynamic TAWOG episodes can be. Within these four episodes, we got a rap music video about being a kid, a Comedy/parody of sitcom and character tropes, a slice-of-life gym episode, and now a Zombie Horror Movie homage. To think season 1's highest stakes were, "We have to return this DVD or else our mom is gonna kick our butts!" to season 3 being, "The school is infested with a Joy virus and has spread among the students and faculty, and the only way to cure them is to play really sad music on the school loudspeaker which is on the other side of the school."
