2024-12-07 20:02:45 +0000 UTCIt's great that the name finally reveals Gumball's real name after so long while also permanently changing his name to Gumball by the end of it XD. What I love about season 3 is that TAWOG acknowledges previous episodes with so many neat callbacks and references. While Gumball will always be an 'episodic' show, there is definitely a timeline of events that build a sort of loose continuity that the show will call back from time to time, and I love that about TAWOG. Just like 'The World, ' the spotlight for the extras goes to, of course, the background characters! I love the continuous love TAWOG has for its background characters and its world-building, it helps make this world just more alive and creative than it already is. With so many characters, it'll be hard to create individual episodes for each of them, so I like this is a neat solution to give them a proper spotlight that the show usually wouldn't do. I'm with you on saying Gumball is probably one of the greatest Cartoons of the decade, it's definitely in the top 5 in Cartoon Networks 2010 shows, alongside Adventure Time and Regular Show. I might honestly prefer Gumball over those shows due to watching it more growing up, but they're all amazing shows either way. I dont think there will ever be a show like Gumball, maybe Smiling Friends has the potential to be up there but we are only two seasons in.
