The recipe poses a great question on how some characters can come back to life. Anton doesn't really have a substantial character archetype, but he's mainly relegated to a gag character, always being the punching bag for many events that happen. We've seen Anton die so many times, and it's almost always him being eaten because he's an actual living piece of toast. However, this episode also poses the question of how everyone else comes back to life, like the multiple times Alan gets popped, Banana Joe gets squished, Sarah loses her head, and other times. Maybe its something similar to how Anton comes back. The Puppy is an interesting episode as it establishes the Wattersons' new pet, Evil Turtle (yes, that's its name). While they are technically a new character, it'll only show up a couple of times. What's interesting is the 'Awesome Store,' we never actually got to see who owned that red van, and it's strange what kind of dubious items they sell there, from Evil turtles, fireworks, car upgrades, and other things. Very interesting indeed.
