Hey Miniature Makers!
For all members, you are about to get a huge boost to your rewards each month!
We are adding to your rewards 2 giant sets of bases each month! Each of the sets will have 33 bases in it. These bases will be the sizes and shapes most used so round and oval.
This is the new base system we have developed! The bases make the base and then the scatter sets make it so that you can customize them and make each base unique, meaning you can base an entire army or legion of monsters without the bases looking repetitive.
There is a huge 50+ Piece Scatter Pack that we will also be releasing to you guys with everything from skulls to rocks to bullets, to crystals!
25mm (5 versions), 28mm (3 versions), 32mm (5 versions), 40mm (3 versions), 50mm (2 versions), 65mm (2 versions), 90mm (2 versions), 100mm (2 versions), 65x35mm (3 versions), 75x42mm (2 versions), 90x52mm, 105x70mm, 120x92mm, 170x105mm
This first Months set is Skull Bases and Cobble Stone Bases! So starting off with some real fan favorites!
There will be two new full 33 base sets released on the 15th of each month. This gives you guys some mid-month goodies to look forward to as well. Along with this, we will also be constantly adding to the scatter pack each month with bits that will work for the new bases.
We will also be launching the bases as a stand-alone tier for new members however, these members will not have access to the Print 'n' Roll sets of rollers and terrain or be able to vote on the new sets.
The bases will be laid flat for FDM printing and fully pre-supported for resin printing.
We have developed a special curved lip on the bottom of the bases that reduces the pressure when printing in resin on the bottom lip, meaning you get nice perfect edges. This lip also means that when you print in FDM it does not spread out at the edge and the bases stay the exact size they should be.
The lip also allows for the bases to be printed flat on the build plate with resin printers while allowing a tiny gap around the edges so they can be removed without a flex plate. We suggest this is done only by more experienced users of resin printers. This works best with smaller bases up to 65mm and if you do choose to do this, make sure to have 4 bottom layers set and have a layer height of 0.05mm.
