Tea Light Lantern

Hey Miniature Makers,

You know we love to throw some curveballs your way! This week, we’ve got a unique new accessory for your tabletop: the Tea Light Lantern.

Designed to work with standard (38mm) tea lights of any kind, this lantern is a fantastic way to add extra mood and charm to your game setup. It’s easy to assemble, with most pieces pressure-fitted together, and we’ve included a convenient screw cap on the bottom for quick tea light swaps—whether to change the batteries or switch up the color. We made the lid hollow so that you still have access to the on/off switch.

Use a flickering yellow tea light for a cozy game night or a tavern theme, a red or green one for a more sinister dungeon vibe, or even a blue or color-changing one to create a magical or ethereal atmosphere.

With Halloween just around the corner, this could also make the perfect spooky prop! After all, everything looks eerie with a few cobwebs draped over it. 😋🕸️

INCLUDES:

As always, they come laid flat for FDM and Fully Pre-supported for Resin printing!

I joined patreon Nov 1, how can I get this file? I don't see it on mmf or your website

Hey Richard, thanks for the feedback! Feel free to share anything additional with us at info@customminiaturemaker.co.uk I will mention that this model does require supports for best results, and the Resin and FDM versions are identical, however; some slight changes were made after the print seen in the images to improve printability and minimize supports. Perhaps it was the orientation of the model on the print bed? Happy to help if you send a note.

Hi Simon & Justin, I've just printed the lantern, which I absolutely love! However, I have some print issues / design thoughts and was wondering which is the best way to get them to you? Also, it appears that the top centre of the base in the images is different to the FDM version, which I can't imagine is for resin printing purposes, and would explain some of the issues I had with the base. :)

Richard

Better fire up that printer 🤣 Glad you guys like it!
