Officer Zero (Emma Gunn Reboot) Intro - Raw Art & WIP
Added 2022-02-15 14:50:11 +0000 UTCSo there's a lot here. First of all, this is something of a reboot or restart of the Emma Gunn series I started on but that never really gained any traction. There are fundamental difference, namely the addition of shapeshifting latex powers thanks to the main character - now named Officer Zero (name subject to change) - actually being two WPCs who were caught in an accident. The accident gave one (Emma) invincibility and the power to absorb or control anything on touch, but like the previous story completely stripped her of her senses in regards to the outside world until and unless she's been in contact with it for extended periods. Meanwhile the other officer, her junior (Pixel) became a goo girl basically, unable to fully form and keep her physical form but very receptive in her senses and gifted with frightening speed, shapeshifting and even camouflage as a result of her liquid state. Coming together they form one 7 foot tall, invincible, shapeshifting unstoppable human wrecking ball hell bent on enforcing the law in a future city that's fallen into utter anarchy where the law means next to nothing.
Speaking of the city, that's the other thing that has changed (guns are also off the menu by and large since they didn't seem to work (for me too tbh)) They say to write what you know and (personal reveal if you weren't aware) I'm from the North of England. Here we have a number of large cities seperated by green belt that would otherwise create one coast-to-coast "Mega City" - this hypothetical Mega City is where we're based: "New North City" - the earlier renders (here arranged otherwise for the story) have NYPD rather than NNCP (New North City Police) because I hadn't decided on that at the time; sorry :/
There's all kinds of shape-shifty and overpowered shenanigans to be had with the general idea being of something like a comic version of I guess a Metroidvania game: gaining powerups, claiming greater abilities and facing ever more severe threats. I have a lot to add to the images in terms of text but what you're seeing is the planning phase and numerous scenarios I envisaged knitted together into a sort of introduction. Following that are what will be Information sheets in the style of police records (the PNGs with blank backgrounds) and finally some WIP stuff for Officer Zero and Scorpio (sexy love interest/Rogueish Vigilante who shares a tempestuous relationship with Zero)

Ha, thankyou very much for the feedback! Very glad to hear I'm on the right track, working away at getting a load of this scripted up to give some more story to it all. The red and blue bars were the best way I could think to do the red and blue police lights thing, the idea being I think that when she is actively chasing or arresting they light up how a police car's would but otherwise stay hidden for stealth. Scorpio I was trying to go as hunky as possible to fully exaggerated levels, give her a bit of man candy to have her way with in an on-and-off tumultuous kind of way. 2022-02-20 07:07:32 +0000 UTCSymbiote Amazon Cop is a pretty cool idea. The story point that they have an actual mutual symbiosis instead of a parasitic one makes it even better. The red and blue light bar on the design were an excellent choice, especially with the shiny latex texture she has. That Archenemy tho', Vega; 11/10 design. Pretty much says all the character is about with any words necessary. Love it. Scorpio needs a caution sign for wide turns stapled to his back, with how massive that jawline is.
