Fact is, this place is still kinder than most. ‘Humanely’ farming human blood, letting them live with luxuries so long as they obey the Vampires rules. And hey, they allow sirens, witches, werewolves and even mermaids to get the same education as vampires. Of course, that level of equality is not reflected outside of school, but you have a couple of more years to worry about that. At least you thought so, until your soulmate mark appears on your 18th birthday and you later find out that you’re the soulmate of the newly crowned Vampire King, Alexei “The Devourer' Volkov. Well… F**k.
Lingering Fun fact#1
Lingering is actually an AU after the events of Amplitude, where Jon and Katy traveled to the past using Felix's powers and erased the events of Freak-Quency. This prevented the tragedies in Amplitude but caused Lingerings to form as Giselles's mere presence in that timeline will always cause anomalies to form. So in a way FQ, Amplitude and Lingering are all indirect sequels of each other however Lingering less explicit and can be a standalone. Also Keyes was supposed to be the main villain but his later planned crimes in game were deemed to cruel and we changed his role to be a manipulated villain than one with bad intentions.
