Dear Skip Intro, I keep thinking about these BOTY lists from TV's past, and it leads me to ask a specific question, if you had the power to check older Best of the Year lists for TV in the past, would you do it? I collect old magazines containing BOTY lists from Entertainment Weekly, for example, and 2002 was definitely the year of the critically acclaimed crime drama, Shield, Wire and the more obscure, but, almost as praised the same year, Boomtown, came out all around the same time, and I have a thread on AcclaimedMusic's forums collecting information about all these older BOTY lists for TV, stretching back to the 1980s, but, still, finding more info about what critics fought for, TV, wise in the past, is still a live-long dream of mine

2023-02-06 00:35:10 +0000 UTCI have several questions around the same theme: -Do you still buy dvd and/or blu-rays? -Do you still pirate shows/movies/other stuff or do you stick to the legal offer? -How do you get footage from shows hosted exclusively on VOD services into your editing software? -And finally a kinda loaded question: What's your opinion on VOD services getting to control what we can watch and which version of a work they give us without us having any say in it?
