Changing the "mood" system

Hey everyone,

One topic that has been brought up many times, is the mood/need/stat system.
I want to rebalance it and have a few ideas, please let me know what YOU think that would be most fun (without it being too easy)!

Hi faiq, The 10$ rewards gives you access to the walkthrough. The $20 reward has everything yes (including cheat console to skip to scenes).

Sorry to hear that. I'll look into it, but I don't speak German myself, this is all based on the (extreme kind) work of a volunteer and fan of the game. Hopefully we'll be able to improve it over time (as well as add other languages).

The German translation have a lot of mistakes it is more Geenglish in German you say "Deenglisch". A lot of words are in english and not german. I think the German translation have to improve. I don´t know if it is possible that you have a file with the German translation I think to tell all mistakes are to long.

Thanks for the feedback! Removing the lock system would mean you could never get (and hold) a perfect mood and I want to include some really special events for that ;) The trip time has been changed in the new version, you can now travel whenever you want!

I vote getting rid of the lock mechanic altogether and increasing the gains for all mood modifiers. I assume the mechanics are to encourage interacting with the environment to drive the story events. Also, please make the trip time/destination not dependent on the locations opening time (ie you should be able to travel to the pizza shop before it opens and then wait until it's opens so you don't lose time traveling to it) Thanks for the game!

Beach and park are also included, same with: office, strip club, bar, police station, hospital, restaurant, etc. ;) About the growing of the game, exactly! That's why I picked this setting, I really like how this can be expanded according to you guy's wishes. After the first 3 storylines are done, I plan on adding content, based/events on weekly polls.

Haha, thanks for the feedback mate, but you're way ahead of me! The gym been added already, just not unlockable. The random events will be improved, also you will get items/stats to defend yourself against muggers. There will even be a mystery hero that might come save you eventually...(a whole different storyline). But anyway, I don't want to give away too much already, so shh :P

Another place you could add also in future could be beach, and a park, were the player can meet either family members or other girls^^ also the player should be able to pursue several girls but no more than like 3 at once, if one pursue either or both of the sisters, however untill said or both sister is 'catched' then mother can't be pursued. and if one pursues mother the same is there. Same could be done for other women, this would give the player something to finish and then start up with someone else or be satisfied. I mean you litteraly can add as many women as your game possibly can and your energy to spend time making this game with this so^^ and yeah, there are tons of other locations and stuff you can add.. chinemas, hamburger place, xxx shop. School dorm (girls ofc) apartments 1-2 or something and 1-2 house's ;D your game has litteraly no end to how much it can grow^^

Magics&Mundane

I like the game as it is now stats wise mostly and stats gain, however if you had items to home for an example, sleeping and washing is very hard to keep up compared to food, so an extra pillow to buy to increase sleep gain would be nice, when it come's about showers. How about being able to shower at work?. 3rd casino should be finished as soon as possible so an income to stuff like home stuff, food and such. and last items should be usuable about 3 times a day, morning, after lunch, after dinner. this way it won't make the char 'op' but much more realistic and you can balance things out after that. after you have fixed this, you should inplement a gym and increase mugging chance or someone being 'mugged' and the player can help out. Special events after certain ammount of strenght is gained can maybe happend like mom or sisters mugged or even a new npc girl can be 'mugged' and the player saves the day and gets a nice reward? spying should in later versions and i mean waay later versions have a pos-neg effect chance meaning if spying is successfull then he gains happiness. but if he fails it decreases love and his mood on the person that he decided to spy upon and the one that catched him.

True, besides the more content (and events) will be added, the less "painful" the mood system will be. I like your (and Viduku36's) suggestions!

I agree, I think that poeple that don't enjoy the stat system, might as well use the cheat console and max all moods instantly. For those that DO like it, I think it's more fun if it's a least a bit of a challenge. Maybe the poll options are wrong and should have said: do you want to play with or without the mood system ;)

I think a floating system combined with Viduka36’s proposal will work. If your mood is high – the higher % of chance you will have to obtain what you want. If you want to go 1 step further in your action with ex Alice your chance to succeed will be higher the better your mood is. I would also like if the time laps for every event (ex bath scene) will be lowered to ex 30 min. That will open the option for much more events over a day. If you also could decide how long time you will sleep – it will be perfect.

How to watch and seduce mom i can get 193% but still able only bath,and when spy in room she aways catches. Make scene feel like real,like bathing,blow job and sex with long durations

honestly i like it as it is now, it quite simple to keep atleast a smiley face all the time.

Option #3, all actions all the time.. If you add this you may as well take the Mood stuff OUT of the game since people will basically spam actions to max all the time anyway. If you actually want to keep mood in the game, then allow some things, like coffee, to be used twice a day or something, and major items like breakfast, add more overall.

I think it's pretty good as is, maybe just lower the time for doing things, like be able to eat & have coffee sooner or something.

At the same time I feel a slight nudge should be placed on the player when the player causes a "oh" responce

I am infavor of the ideas that Viduka36 suggested. " Instead of the lock system you could make everything available and the higher your mood, more relationship points you would get with interactions." because this would in my opinion improve the playablity of the game,
