Question about translations

Thanks a lot for your offer Kenny. Right now there are 2 translators working on the German translation, but if you like I can add you to the list, in case one of them might drop out?

Same reason for me. While the german translation is one of the better ones, it is not 100% accurate.

Hi there, I'm Taiwanese and we mainly use Mandarin for our official language,I'm really enjoy this project and if I could help you with Chinese translation to promote this project for Chinese player that would be wonderful.

English is enough...its the international lang and everyone should at least try to learn it xd

I play the english version althoug there is a german translation and while it doesn't seem to be bad the translation also doesn't feel as fluent and refined, so I prefer the english one.

hi, im chilean and i really like this project, it would be an honor if you let me participate in the translation to the spanish version of the game.

Im Persian, but English is common language, so I dont have any problem

The plus side is the more languages you have in the game the bigger the audience you can reach

Sound cool Mantis! These are all translated by volunteers by the way, but I don't check them, on one hand because I really don't have the time and on the other because I just don't speak the languages and would hate to rely on GT for that ;) I think of it more as a side project for people that like to translate/write and are having fun doing it. If this also benefits the community and the game that is of course a (huge) added bonus!

I did a long test of Google Translate last year. I wrote a rather oblique paragraph in English, then used GT to send it around the world through 14 or 15 languages and back to English. It is on my Patreon Profile page. I understand that several grammatical issues arise in the order of words, but not reading the other languages I can't judge that, I can only judge the English at beginning and end. This was just an experiment and not an endorsement.

The german Translation is fine. You can play with it, but some sentences sound strange for a german. Dont translate the sentences word by word, translate the meaning.

Полного русского перевода очень не хватает.

for me (because of the lack of the Czech language) is a usable Russian language, but it does not work. most text skip back to English.

until that post i didn't even knew there was a french translation of the game. So to answer the question, i play only the english version, somehow it helps me improve my english level.

I had a Spanish translator, but that took very long and didn't really work out. Right now I just contacted someone else who offered to help! So hopefully next version will be in Spanish again!
