@ James S I meant "family" in the community sense. I personally spent some time as a student in a private home with a couple of other boarders. We had many fun "family get togethers" despite the fact none of us were as attractive as the charactrs in the game. I'd like to see more things like the dinner and Saturday breakfast, where the whole "family" spends time together. ;-)

Hey James, it's a combination of all of those. I work on this project by myself and currently spend about 40-50 hours a week on this, so yeah it takes a lot of time ;) 3D modelling takes a lot of time, after it's done I render it (which takes hours, but I do that on a seperarte computer and usually overnight). Then I start writing the script for the dialogs/flags/achievements/conditions/etc. which all has to be valid script (for the game engine), so it's not just a matter of adding the text. Finally, there's the actual coding, fixing bugs and further development of the game engine.

I got a question! What takes the longest in this game? script making, story ideas, or art/3d art? I get you and what ever group you work with might have RL jobs but I was curious why adding as much as you do per release what makes releases so long. Oh and Mars68 its an ADULT game NOT FAMILY game, want family game .. go play FarmVille lol

A landlady with three boarders can still have a 'family' get together, once in a while, as long as all four have compatible personalities. See my post on discord for clarification.
