Probably the best episode of S1 so far; it was non stop. The Witchsmeller is a great character that deserves a revisit in future series, good continuity with Edmund's wife and speaking of characters I'd like to see again, the Queen is brilliant. The revelation that she is a witch and the Bewitched style Fourth wall cheeky wink was great. And is this the first time Baldrick says 'I have a cunning plan'?

2025-05-01 08:39:35 +0000 UTCRandom one, but why do I think the reference to "graves opening and our ancestors rising up to engage in sporting activities" is a reference to those rediculous adverts that happen every time its the olympics or world cup. I definitely do remember an advert for something like that happening but I was 3 when this aired so it was definitely later.
