It's business time!
Added 2020-01-17 18:00:47 +0000 UTCHey guys,
Just wanted to let you all know that the next update for MwM is well underway and will be released near the end of this month.
In that update the introduction story will be finished and hopefully I'll also be able to demonstrate a new gameplay aspect that I am very excited about!
In the mean time, here's a small teaser:

I also finished my personal website, for those of you that would like to check it out:

You might even spot another teaser for MwM on there ;)

I would also like to bring a fellow developer to your attention.
His name is Luxee and I recently got to know him.
He’s a really cool guy and I think he deserves some more attention.
Luxee is making a game called Parental Love:
In this game you take on the role of a man who has tasked himself with the burden of rebuilding his lost family. The one he broke off from 12 years ago. Guide his actions through a slice of his life as he reunites with his ex-wife Emily and his two *roommates*, Elly and Ada that he last saw just saw as kids. But as humans often do, those *roommates* have changed. They aren't kids anymore. And they are VERY happy to see you come back into their lives.
As two more girls also join along the way, will you manage to juggle these relationships and keep everyone happy? Or will some of the girls be left in the dust as you pick out your favorites?
There's a free demo for Parental Love that can be found here: https://www.luxee.games/download
You can find the most recent Subscriber only version on either of these pages:

Make sure to check it out his work!
All the best,
Faerin

2020-01-21 20:35:10 +0000 UTCI will chime in and say I too have tried PL. I did enjoy working with the mechanics, but I find it more linear, and more meat & potatoes, not the movable feast MoTH is. Thank you for sharing his work with us.

2020-01-21 20:32:53 +0000 UTCThanks Tao, I think you have summed it up very well. I hope MwM will surpass MotH and demonstrate that there was/is still a lot room for improvement.

2020-01-18 15:10:05 +0000 UTCCool website. Very modern looking. I have tried PL: it's OK but not a standout. There are too many games in what has become the 'landlady and room-mate' genre now, and few have the standard of storytelling that is in MotH, which allowed you to re-craft the game without losing any of the quality. Taking that extra step away from the genre at the outset, means that MwM has the makings of an excellent game, with a few ghosts of other themes to excite those who need that edge to their gaming. For many other games on Patreon it is clear that the only thing going for them was the frisson of sailing close to the prevailing winds of moral judgement, and now that has been taken away, there is very little substance left.
